Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026.
The Family Five is a single editorial page. This policy covers exactly what that page does, in full — there is no longer version hiding behind it.
What this page collects
This site does not have user accounts, does not run a contact form, and does not process payments. The only thing stored is a single browser flag, set in your own browser's local storage, that remembers you've dismissed the cookie notice at the bottom of the page so it doesn't reappear on your next visit. That flag contains no personal information, stays on your own device, and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
What this page does not collect
We do not run any analytics platform, advertising pixel, or third-party tracking script. We do not know who visits this page, how often, or from where, beyond whatever basic server request logs our hosting infrastructure keeps for security purposes (IP address, browser type, page requested, and timestamp) — standard for any web server and not used for tracking or profiling.
Third-party links
The page describes five real hotels and resorts, but does not currently link out to their individual booking sites. If a future version adds such links, those destination sites have their own separate privacy practices that this policy does not cover.
Children's privacy
This page is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, adult or child, since it has no form and no account system to collect information through in the first place.
Your rights
Since the only data involved is a local storage flag that lives on your own device, you can clear it at any time yourself by clearing your browser's site data for this domain — there is nothing held on our side to request access to or deletion of.
Changes to this policy
If what this page collects ever changes, this policy will be updated to match, and the "last updated" date above will change.
